Launched in 2005, Rocksalt & Snails is one of Aberdeen's best loved coffee shops. Set in St Swithin Street, known locally as 'the little Chelsea of Aberdeen', it is the perfect place to sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
Boasting large windows and high ceilings, the coffee shop has a fabulous ambiance at any time of the day, whether it's morning coffee, a lunchtime meeting or afternoon tea. The light and airy Aberdeen coffee shop is west facing which allows customers to enjoy the Scottish sunshine and there is outdoor seating for alfresco dining.
We serve deli-style delights & home bakes using only the very best Scottish produce and our small team strives to ensure every customer thoroughly enjoys their Rocksalt & Snails experience. We have a delightful seasonal bistro lunch menu offering soups, sandwiches, paninis, salads and deli platters, as well as take away options.
As the only coffee shop in Aberdeen to serve Ipanema Espresso using the finest Arabica coffee beans, we have a superb range of sit-in/take-away coffees, whether you need a quick espresso boost or a more luscious macchiato. If you're a tea lover, you'll love our selection of Suki loose leaf teas served in their own individual teapots.
Only luxury, premium brands are good enough for our customers, from the coffee & tea to the cured meats, freshly baked croissants and breads to the mouth-watering selection of cakes, cupcakes and traybakes.
We always aim to source quality, local artisan products - with hams and beef from Newburgh, berries from Laurencekirk and milk from Inverurie - but on occasion we have to look a little further afield across Scotland.
At Rocksalt and Snails, we only settle for the very best!
